DANIELLE EDINBURGH WILSON is a native on New Orleans. She earned her Master's degree in Vocal Performance at the University of New Orleans in 2013. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2010. At the age of 2 she sang her first solo for her great-grandmother's church program and she has been singing ever since. She began her professional career as the Diva in Jazzland Theme Park's show Jazz, Jazz, Jazz. In September 2008 she received thunderous applause for her debut performance on the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage. Danielle has had the opportunity to sing around the world, performing in Spain, France, Belize, Italy and Switzerland as well as locally at Jazz Fest, Essence and other events including performances with the New Orleans Opera and the Jefferson Performing Arts Society. She is best known for her portrayal of the legendary Mahalia Jackson in the production MAHALIA! A GOSPEL MUSICAL. In 2009 Danielle released her album "Reflections of Mahalia" to pay tribute to Mahalia Jackson and her gospel legacy. In all of this her motto is "It's not me, it's God!"

Members of nocb participate in community outreach program in St. Bernard parish. The performing arts academy of St. Bernard is presenting Rogers and hammerstein's Cinderella. Members of the band partnered with students and faculty from the public schools to play in the orchestra for the production.
