This Sunday, October 28 at UNO Recital Hall, get ready for a double-header concert featuring the New Orleans Concert Band and New Orleans Civic Symphony! The Symphony will kick things off at 2 pm, followed by NOCB some time after 3 pm. Last Sunday, the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) hosted Play Dat!, an annual community side-by-side concert at Holy Cross School. Musicians from across the community, including students, teachers, and members of New Orleans Concert Band, dusted off their instruments and joined with the LPO to form a massive 150+ member orchestra for a day. It was a ton of fun for everyone involved, especially for NOCB members who participated! We'll see you at NOCB's first concert of the 2018-2019 season THIS WEEKEND at Audubon Park!
